6 NEW TECHNOLOGIES

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

RESEARCH

PINTEREST Pinterest is a versatile, easy-to-navigate online pin board tool that displays visuals and text linked to websites. I created a pin on the representation of social groups in my film opening.
PICTOCHART
An infographic tool with a wide variety of templates including useful charts (pie charts, bar charts taken in through Excel)
ONLINE MAGAZINES I consulted MediaMagazine to learn about the film industry, such as Why Watching Films Is Good for You

https://www.englishandmedia.co.uk/media-magazine/articles/19700 (Dec. 2015).

BLOGGER Blogger hosted all my other new technologies at the research and planning stage. As a multi-media social networking tool it allowed me to collate, archive, display and create research and planning with images, videos, sound files and posts that I could share with my group. One of the great aspects to Blogger is that there is a comment section, therefore you can receive feedback, from class piers, media teachers and even strangers from all over the world.  How To Add Video to Blogger
TWITTER
Twitter is a useful and efficient way of communicating with my group member, we can send images, attach files, and send videos, this therefore allows me and my group to collect ideas and progress with our film production without being in school. To learn from some great minds and experienced teachers in various Media fields. If something interets them, it may well be of interest to us. 'Follow' wisely.

YOUTUBE
I have used youtube in a variety of ways. The main reasons why I decided to use youtube as it is a good free video sharing website that allows people all over the world to come up with innovative ideas for their own projects. I took this into account by finding copyright free music to add into my film. As well as watching several previous A-level film productions in order to broaden my film ideas.

FACEBOOK: I used Facebook as I felt as though researching other independent British film pages, I will have more knowledge to how independent British films are distributed an filmed. (SCREENSHOT)
GOOGLE DOCS- This is a sophisticated and flexible tool that enabled us to work collaboratively on the same documents. We used it extensively when creating the shot list, the call sheets and the scripts. It is flexible because we could update ideas, add photos of locations, plan the blocking of movements with photos to prompt our memories and keep our ideas looking professional and easy to access. Google docs let us create and share our work online and access our documents from anywhere.
SLIDESHARE I used SlideShare to present my research on The Incredible Hulk. Its value lies in the way it allows visual images and hyperlinks to videos as well as text. OPEN MY SLIDE SHARE HERE
I also made slide shares on Captain America: Civil War and Nerve.

PLANNING
SNAPCHAT I used Snapchat as a quit and easy way to communicate with my group member, in order for our film to develop efficiently.
PINTEREST Pinterest enabled us to collect together a series of images for the mise-en-scene, props and ideas for our film production. We gathered images on modern teenagers, victorian mums, ouija  boards, and postures and gestures. This was essential planning to guide our directing of the scenes. We needed to create an authentic period feel. We also wanted to convey the bold, brave and confident teenagers who decided to embark on a dangerous adventure. We constructed our characters using pictures of Joe Weller and two teenage girls. Click HERE to find Pinterest.

GOOGLE DOCS I used google docs as a way of creating my call sheets and shot lists. This source of software was useful as it allowed a group of people to edit the same document. Therefore making it efficient and more copperative and allowed me to talk to my group about the filming process for Asylum. It allows you to add photos,
TRELLO- I used Trello as a way of creating a digital list so that I have a solid idea of what work I need to finish and what work is finish. Find my Post on Trello Here.
MOBILE PHONE I used a variety of different digital communication in order to contact my piers, this allowed me to get certain parts of my work done as well as my pier. I achieved this through WhatsApp, Snapchat and Text messages.

ANIMOTO for animating still photos and text such as an animated account of how you made your stop frame animation.

DIGITAL CAMERA Canon D550, D650
MakeAGif
We decided to make a GIF in order to create a production company ident for Electric Light Studios. This allowed me to import photographs of light photography to create a short clip of different images, with the production company ident on top of the images.

FACEBOOK
I used facebook in order for myself and my piers to organise times and places for important shoots, this also allowed us to contact each other on the availability of ourselves and if we were available to shoot on a particular day

EVALUATION
FACEBOOK- I shared the film production from you tube to face book as it will reach a higher audience capacity. Ttherefore this would allow me to recieve more feedback and constructive criticism.
YOUTUBE
